ReadtheRoom is an expanded literary practice space that encourages experimental writing, both on and off the page. Operating as a liaising hub for varying practitioners interested in pursuing the literary form in any capacity, with an emphasis on the interdisciplinary. We aim to generate a discursive and open-ended pedagogic space for writers and artists, with a focus on the neurodivergent experience. The space hosts ongoing writing workshops, lectures, exhibitions and reading events. ReadtheRoom is dedicated to both challenging and fostering a community of expanded literary practice within Melbourne and beyond.
